Ty Dolla $ign enlists Akon for “Rhythm of the Drum.”

Ty Dolla $ign is intent on paying his respects to his R&B forefathers by hitting them up for dope collaborations. His debut album, Free TC, featured acts like Babyface, Jagged Edge, and R. Kelly.

He’s now hooked up with a legend of slightly more contemporary status, but a legend nonetheless: Akon. The Konvict appears next to Ty on the ultra-smooth “Rhythm of the Drum.”
