Canadian rap superstar Drake has surprised fans around the world after releasing three brand new albums titled Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour. The unexpected release happened on Friday, May 15, shortly after the rapper hosted a YouTube livestream called Iceman Episode 4, where he previewed snippets of new songs and hinted that major music releases were coming soon.
The first project, Iceman, contains 18 tracks and includes songs such as Make Them Cry, Whisper My Name, and Make Them Pay. The album also features guest appearances from Future, 21 Savage, and Molly Santana. Fans quickly reacted online after the album became available on streaming platforms, with many praising Drake’s energy and lyrical delivery throughout the project.
Drake’s second album, Habibti, comes packed with 11 songs and collaborations with Sexyy Red, PartyNextDoor, and Loe Shimmy. The project combines emotional storytelling with modern hip hop production, giving listeners a different vibe from Iceman. Fans have already started sharing their favorite tracks across social media platforms.
The third album, Maid of Honour, features 14 tracks with appearances from Central Cee, Popcaan, Sexyy Red, Iconic Savvy, and Stunna Sandy. The project has generated massive online discussions because of its international collaborations and unique sound. Many listeners believe the album could become one of Drake’s biggest projects this year.
Before the triple album release, Drake had already been teasing fans with hints about his next music era. In April, reports claimed the rapper hid a release date inside a giant block of ice in Toronto. He also previewed new music through songs like What Did I Miss? and Which One featuring Central Cee. The song Which One was first performed during Drake’s headline appearance at the Wireless Festival.
The three albums mark Drake’s first major solo projects since the release of For All The Dogs in 2023. Although the rapper released the collaborative project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PartyNextDoor last year, fans had been waiting for another major solo era from the Canadian superstar. The albums also arrive following Drake’s highly discussed feud with Kendrick Lamar, which dominated headlines throughout 2024. With Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour, Drake has once again captured worldwide attention and given fans plenty of new music to enjoy in 2026.
