Skepta return with a hot new single Entitle “Wish You Were Here” and diss towards fellow grime MCand Boy Better Know associate Wiley. The Wiley & Skepta beef is a spin-off from the Wiley & DizzeeRascal beef, largely coming out due to Skepta’s apparent closeness to Dizzee Rascal.
Skepta‘s latest single, “Wish You Were Here” has arrived and it’s one of the first solo records we’ve heard from him in a minute. The latest song continues to show why Skepta is one of the leading artists in U.K.’s grime scene. His direct delivery on the track compliments the minimal and smooth production.
Skepta hasn’t necessarily been quiet but he definitely hasn’t been as active as we wished he was. The grime emcee dished out a few tracks last year including the Wizkid-assisted, “Energy.”
He also delivered a few stand-out guests verses throughout the year as well. Now, he links up with Double S for their new collaboration, “Certy.”
